I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the 2024 local council elections.
By professional background, I am a local Real Estate Agent who migrated to Australia as a student from India. I completed a Bachelor of Business Management from the James Cook University in 2010. While I was a student studying in Melbourne, I very much enjoyed my time in Melbourne and decided to settle here permanently and become a Citizen, which I did in 2012.

I have been residing and working in Truganina, a suburb of Wyndham City Council, and I have been living in the western suburbs for the past 18 years. I am married with three children and enjoy spending time with my family as a family man. I believe that the City of Wyndham is a good place and lifestyle to live as a family, which we have enjoyed very much.

I enjoy being a part of the community spirit and local community members have encouraged me to partake as a candidate in the 2024 Wyndham City Council local elections. I believe I can greatly contribute with my energy and ideas to my local council and represent my ward fairly and passionately.

Whilst there are many local issues that I am passionate about, I can simply say that mutual respect between local councillors and residents is the best approach to addressing issues and opportunities at the local government level to keep ensuring that Wyndham City Council is a liveable and affordable place for all residents and future generations.

I would be very happy to meet local residents on a personal level and have face-to-face discussions with them concerning local government issues.
